This was the very first shot that was animated by Léo Silly Pélissier, the director of animation of Flow during pre-production. The character rigs and models were later remade from scrach. There're still a few shots left in the film which feature the older rigs.

Creativity is like a houseplant, not an endless well. You need to seek out sunlight, water, and nutrients in art, shows, music, experiences, and more to tend to it. And just like plants it has its dormant and active periods and you may not seem improvement for some time.
