Appeals court agrees with Judge Boasberg that even if deporting gang members is a good idea, it can’t be done unlawfully. My thought in @MSNBCDaily.

Opinion | Why judges keep rejecting Trump's Alien Enemies Act argument
The legal question here isn’t necessarily what the administration is doing; it's how the administration is doing it.

Today, four U.S. soldiers went missing in Lithuania during a training exercise and were found dead. When asked about it during an Oval Office presser, Trump claimed he knew nothing about it.

Because he doesn't care about our military. He has never cared about our military. They are mere collateral.

Not only did the Trump regime mess up their own opsec, they also committed a war crime. They targeted residential buildings in Yemen, missed their target, and killed civilians instead.
The Trump regime accidently leaked its top secret war plans to a journalist at the Atlantic. In the chat the Trumpians trash talk Europe calling it pathetic and worry about the safety of Saudi interests.

They also plot among themselves how much money they should try to extort Europe and Egypt for.

I’m old enough to remember when Secretary Hegseth tried to publicly mock Judge Reyes—suggesting that she didn’t know what she was doing when it comes to protecting our national security.

It was … two days ago.

The mendacity with which Secretary Hegseth is doing this is quite something.
So Def. Sec Hegseth changed the name of Ft Moore back to Ft Benning. As w/ Ft Bragg, they found another soldier with the same name to make it seem like they weren't just changing the name back to honor a Confederate.

But you should know who Ft Moore was named for. 🧵

The desperate search to find decorated US soldiers that happen to share the same last name as Confederate generals is one of the funniest spectacles of this whole Administration.
