Got home to Ohio from our latest wander trip through the eastern U.S. last night. Got up early in the snow for my doctor’s appointment, drove 20 miles into the city… my appointment is tomorrow morning y’all… I could have stayed under my covers!!!!

Nobody told me that retiring with your partner of nearly 40 years would be like stepping back in time to our first years together.
