Honestly, we do need to rethink how we approach governance. The world is just so many orders of magnitude more complicated and fast-changing than it was even 100 years ago let alone 250.

Sometimes I wonder how different things would be if most feedback systems weren't all inherently biased towards the type of person who is most likely to give feedback.

-Cut $1 billion from USDA programs supporting food banks
-Enacted tariffs that have caused food prices to rise
-Made the largest cut to SNAP in history
-Canceled the annual food security survey
Shameful.

It is increasingly absurd to try and use AI to differentiate LLM output from competent human technical writing, and I am EXTREMELY tired of it.
