The American people deserve an Attorney General who will stand up for us – not her wealthy donors, big banks, and big tech.

The Senate should reject Pam Bondi’s nomination.

Imagine if we get a bird flu pandemic and RFK Jr. is the heath secretary 🤦🏽‍♂️😡
Bird flu mutations in the US's first severe H5N1 case may boost the virus's ability to infect humans
The CDC says the risk posed to the general public has not changed and is still low

America's richest 10% now hold 60% of the nation's wealth.

The bottom half of America? It holds just 6%.

Wealth inequality is eating this country alive.

This level of wealth concentration is indefensible
According to Barron’s, Elon Musk’s wealth increased by almost $200 billion between November 5 and December 20. That means he could give $250,000 to every homeless person in the US and still be as rich as he was on November 5.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. saw an 18.1% increase in homelessness this year, with more than 770,000 people counted as homeless.

I hope it won’t come to this because many wealthy people depend on people’s purchases. Concerts, performances, movies, sporting events, etc. help many involved make millions. The fortunes of Disney, Walmart, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, facebook, etc. depends on many people spending money.

A future conversation...

"Dad, how could people want things to be so bad?"

"Well son, we used the internet mostly for porn and screaming our feelings. When it came time to look up things like "fascism" and "tariffs" I'm afraid it was a bridge too far for most."

I’m always happy when people normalize therapy and not being ashamed of who they are. I know many who as adults found out that they were autistic, had ADHD, were non-binary, etc., and it helped them to understand why they think/act the way they do and effective ways to change any unwanted behavior

Reproductive rights groups are planning to embrace a multipronged approach: challenging anti-abortion policies in court, organizing political protests, and lobbying state and national lawmakers to oppose proposed bans.

Abortion rights groups are pivoting away from ballot initiatives and starting to go on defense.

Are we going to lose access to gender affirming healthcare and IDs in January?

I asked a lot of experts what trans people can expect, and we will keep asking @19thnews.bsky.social
