Very interesting that like 9/10 of the fields the US Dept of Ed no longer considers "professional programs" are mandatory reporters.

The provincial throne speech was spoken in English in Winnipeg today, but for the first time ever, copies of the speech were handed out in Anishinaabemowin.

The provincial throne speech was spoken in English in Winnipeg today, but for the first time ever, copies of the speech were handed out in Anishinaabemowin.

Yesterday I cut my leg and needed stitches. Off I went to Victoria Hospital Urgent Care. Despite it being a busy Saturday night, I was stitched up and headed home in under 3 hours! Thank you to Nurse Pindy and Nurse Practitioner Alanna, you were kind, quick, and it didn't even hurt!

There's some kids on the corner trying to drum up business for their lemonade stand. Two young entrepreneurs are waving signs at traffic to advertise. Except one of them is enjoying screaming non-verbally at cars, to the extent that Norm, 3 storeys up, is extremely concerned about screaming kid! 🤣
