reality has an unfair anti-Trump bias
Q: At the end of this year, those extended Obamacare subsidies expire. What's your message to those 24m Americans who will see their premiums go up?

TRUMP: Don't make it sound so bad. Obviously you're a sycophant for Democrats. You're obviously a provider of bad news for Republicans.

Hardly surprising, since he threatened Republican state election officials with federal prosecution in 2020 unless they “found” him the votes he needed to change the result.
This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

The fight to beat neglected tropical diseases was going well. 2025 could change that
The campaign to prevent and treat these diseases has seen great success thanks to a USAID program. Now that program is gone.

Aaron's point should hit any reporter covering it in the face. Whether or not it was a good idea to change the fonts initially, we already incurred the cost. Rubio is imposing an ADDITIONAL cost, as in NOT saving money, by switching again.
Articles parrot Sec Rubio's claim that he did this to eliminate a "wasteful" program.

Why does no reporter or editor raise the very basic point that the cost of changing fonts is generated with the change, not with the use, of a font?

Even for me, this is pretty in the weeds, but the shift in tone in SCOTUSblog's coverage since Sarah Isgur and The Dispatch took over—more deferential to the Court, more reverential of the justices as celebrities, more credulous and stenographic across the board—has been...notable
Maybe this new blog can respond, in one of its first posts, to the argument that the term “interim docket” is a deliberately misleading attempt to minimize the (very permanent) doctrinal and real-world consequences of #SCOTUS’s rulings on emergency applications?

Keep doing what you’re doing, Republicans. Voters clearly just *love* it.
JUST IN: It appears Democrats will win the mayor's office in Miami.

This would be a flip from GOP.

It's not final yet, but Democrat Eileen Higgins is up 61% to 39% as the first 23K ballots are counted. That's *the majority of votes cast*, & Election Day is no less Democratic today.

More soon!
