a major flaw in liberal discourse is there was a torrent of outrage, 250,000+ cancelled subscriptions over the WaPo editorial board not endorsing Harris but them providing cover for a genocide for 14 months, openly advocating the ICC be a selective weapon of US empire has solicited no such reaction.
The editorial board of 'The Washington Post' is saying out loud what many don't have the courage to say so straightforwardly: the ICC should be limited to serving as an instrument of Western interests.

Being exposed to politicians and “elite” institutions is probably the single best way to dispel the idea that we’re living in a meritocracy. A bunch of these people have no idea what they’re doing and coast off nepotism, most are just some guy, and there’s a few smart or competent ones in the mix.
