This is what the sky looks like over the Hudson right now. Possibly a sign of an impending multiverse crisis.

Today there was an attempted ICE raid in Bensonhurst & community members showed up. Even though NYPD collaborated with ICE by trying to disburse the crowd; community members stood their ground & ICE left without kidnapping a single person per the rapid response groups I'm on. We protect us!

As Karoline Leavitt concludes her press briefing and walks off, @andrewfeinberg.com asks: "What was the president doing with Virginia Giuffre for hours at Epstein's house?"

She did not respond.

Haven’t posted about birds here in a long time, so here are some recent ones: a broad-billed hummingbird in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York’s first (and the eastern seaboard’s fourth) Common Cuckoo, and a Long-Billed Dowitcher I saw at Piermont Pier back in September.

It’s really staggering how quickly the so-called mainstream Jewish organizations have allowed the far right to normalize Great Replacement Theory in exchange for enforcement of compulsory Zionism

Compare how Jonathan Greenblatt of the ADL responded to Zohran Mamdani winning the mayoral election in NYC to how he responded to the Heritage Foundation mainstreaming actual neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes.

JUST IN: Soren Stevenson, who lost an eye due to a projectile fired by the police during the BLM protests of 2020 in Minneapolis, has won a seat on city council.

I once saw Michael Imperioli on my great uncle’s block on the UWS. It was Halloween night and my then 1 and a half year old daughter was walking around in an incredible Chick (as in baby bird) costume that my partner made from scratch.
Just saw John Smoltz and Michael Imperioli (separately) while waiting to pick up Rose Lowder at Pearson.

I’m sure part of it is some kind of libidinal attachment/arrested development/nostalgia for ΔΚΕ parties, but I think it’s at least as much a concerted strategy premised on securing control of the ideological state apparatus and its role in social reproduction.
i have no idea what bizarre infantile disorder makes rich people care about what happens at elite colleges for the rest of their lives
