Found the tweet that Joyce Carol Oates bodied Elon Musk with and it's so beautiful in its eloquent, simple take down. So much so he's crashing out trying to prove he reads books now. Put this in the Louvre.

Today, I submitted 456,365 Albertans’ signatures to Elections Alberta, petitioning the Premier to do the right thing, avoid a divisive and economically harmful referendum, and allow MLAs to vote and reaffirm that Alberta’s future is in Canada.🇨🇦

First debate, chaotic strike, abpremier flies off. SHAME SHAME
Where's the premier while MLAs rush through an all-night debate on stripping Albertans of their Charter rights?

An airport lounge, waiting for a flight to Saudi Arabia. She didn't even bother to show up for the vote.

I remember when conservatives turfed premiers for this level of hubris.

Tonight's moves by the UCP are part of a trend: shifting Alberta away from liberal democracy toward illiberalism.

"Populists like Smith often invoke freedom, but their concept of it is tied to loyalty to the dominant group rather than universal liberties.+

All these “security conferences” we fund w/ tax dollars gave cops new ways to ease their job of silencing people through rules and violence when those get broken.

Calgary G7 also had a “designated protest zone.” These must be challenged in the streets & then courts when arrests happen.
Pushing people back to the free speech area now.

Note: it is very dark out here and this road is not even. On the lawn part here off Lexington, there are also a bunch of uhhh awkwardly placed decorative boulders. Have almost tripped several times walking backward.

Again, condescending ass
When a concerned Albertan raised concerns about vulnerable Albertans being treated fairly by an Alberta Police force…

Bruce McAllister cut her mic and told her to leave.

This is the UCP’s “consultation”.

Solidarity with Alberta teachers and the ATA! This is a worthy strike, and I fully support it, even with a kid in grade 12 and (very expensive) sports.

Hey, Dani? Cough up some of that money for education, you miserable chowderhead. It’s you who’s the problem, not teachers.

Give ‘em hell, ATA! ✊✊✊

What a condescending ass
At tonight’s “consultation”…

When a high school kid tried to raise concerns about the teachers strike, Bruce McAllister cut the kids mic and then suggested his parents should have beaten him more.

Listen to the clip yourself…

It’s…
