and even that has its own issues if you Really Wanna Be Pedantic.

here’s the bottom line—we actually have bigger things to worry about than etymological debates. we just do.

and trust me when i say those who use one or the other isn’t actually indicative of who has good politics 😭

For anyone having a bad night tonight, or feeling like they don’t “deserve” an accommodation they need…. You do deserve it.

Don’t feel guilty.

Living with chronic illness is hard and we should feel empowered to do whatever we need to in order to make life a bit easier.

I've been guilty of feeling this way but honestly, I don't think I'm ever gonna be fully "done" healing & I think we need to be kinder to ourselves & admit that we do deserve romance & intimacy even if we're struggling. You gotta let people make that decision for themselves instead of for them 💜

The main systems most of us engage with are designed to drain us and keep us complacent. They're extractive, parasitic.

It's extremely important to understand these systems and either refuse them or work to counter them.

Should it be a 5 point scale, maybe? But as the linked doc shows:

Poor
Fair
Good
Very Good
Excellent

Poor and fair are both on the negative side of the response scale, as is common. That’s all I wanted to say.

This is a typical likert scale response, ‘fair’ is part of the negative responses collected.

The idea is to avoid a leading question like
‘Do you think the economy is doing good/bad?

Which would let you have respondents strongly/weakly - agree/disagree with

This is literally their experience every day! Seagull grew up being beat up by an older cat, and as soon as this kitten showed up she has been patient and caring. Breaking intergenerational cycles of trauma. 🥺

Making a difference in the world doesn't mean instant gratification.

If you're digging in your heels in your community; if you're engaged in a long term project that might take years to complete; if you're writing a book - we need your work too.
