100% agreed. Makes me think of how recently someone asked Daisy Ridley if there’s something about Star Wars she never gets to discuss, or something she’s surprised doesn’t get asked. And she literally said “performance, connection, & relationships on screen.” And THAT is fucking sad. It’s damning.
Man, I miss the days when a movie would come out and the stars and directors would do interviews about that movie, rather than video blips where they eat weird candy, or answer internet questions from dogs, or guess each other's lines from different movies. Not everything has to be a viral video.

I read through The High Republic to get ready to write TRIALS OF THE JEDI, and it’s amazing that something like this came together and told so many different kinds of stories in such a short period of time, across so many mediums.
