WHO GIVES A DAMN?

It’s a public service, right there in the name. It exists as a public good for all the people in this country. It’s not supposed to turn a profit, you dolts.

Go audit the Pentagon and see what kind of return on investment we’re getting there.

The USPS faces a tight squeeze. With fewer people using the mail, it’s lost more and more money: $9 billion in the 12 months ending in September alone.

It’s not “losing money” any more than air traffic controllers or public highways or street lights or fire departments are “losing money.” It is a government service. It’s not SUPPOSED to make money. It’s supposed to reliably deliver to anywhere in the US, even the unprofitable places.

Have you ever heard someone go off, and their words are so perfectly chosen, so well said in that moment, that you’re in awe? You think, “There’s nothing to add here,” and you applaud in your head.

That’s exactly this. Pure perfection. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

this is how you do it. while the multi-billionaires sit unhappily, furiously counting their gold coins, this man gets that the greatest joy comes not from simply amassing but from helping those in need.
this is christmas: hope being born once again.🙏🏼❤️
It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

Observers are alarmed by Trump's slurred, incoherent speech where he confused timelines and rambled about cognitive tests and underwear. This visible decline raises serious questions about his fitness for the presidency.

Donald Trump's latest speech set off a firestorm of people online saying the address was "slurring" and "incoherent."Trump's remarks in North Carolina on Friday raised red flags for many. WOW: The DOJ has DELETED an image from its release of the Epstein files that shows photos of Trump in a drawer.

Yesterday, we noted that this image — file 468 — likely slipped through the cracks while officials were attempting to hide materials pertaining to Trump.

Now, it’s gone.

HUGE NEWS from the new Epstein files:

Records show that Maria Farmer, who worked for Epstein, filed a "child pornography" report to the FBI in 1996.

The FBI has never before acknowledged that complaint. The case went nowhere, and mass abuse followed.

And then ask yourself: have I read the Epstein Files Transparency Act?

If your answers to the last two are no, you should sit down until the documents come out.

One other thing people should know is that the GOP has ALREADY distributed talking points on the Hill to reps and senators on how to deal with the fact that Trump is all over the Epstein files.

Ask yourself: would that be done if the files were being sanitized?
