To the south, past the gardens and small stretch of woodland were the mountains. The looming black rock surrounded the entirety of Vlintlann, bar the stretch of land where the castle sat. Beyond that was the border with Coperlann and The Disputed. And to the east, in the distance, the shimmering lights from the cramped streets of The Bowl, where those without riches in Vlintlann lived. Her old home, once upon a time.
