Here are some things that Charlie Kirk said in his life.

The man is dead, and so it only seems fair to share his legacy by cataloguing the values he spread while alive.

Not about to act sad about Charlie Kirk getting shot in the goddamn throat. Small price to pay for protecting the Second Amendment, right?

Remember those people who were saying they trusted Trump to keep us out of foreign wars? I'd love to hear from them about their feelings on renaming the DOD the "Department of War".

Ya ever been so constipated that trying to release the beast led you to violently burp instead?

Ya ever had that happen at work?

I don't need your judgement, Google AI, just answer the fucking question.

Nintendo paid homage to the 1991 Paul Rudd SNES commercial by bringing him back to make one for Switch 2.

This is amazing.

An earworm. My main squeeze DB. @ajoeofalltrades.dev, take a listen- I often think of you when I listen to this, because of the themes of cognitive neuroscience. Although I might have already have recommended it... 🤔 in my brain, I have, many times.

Raise your eyes to one who loves you...

Trying to learn hiragana, I just want to say thank you to hangul. The perfect alphabet indeed. Hiragana gonna bust my brain (we're not going to talk about katakana and kanji at all for a very long time).

Caturday.

Flapjack, like most cats, loves boxes, but packing *bags*?

Apparently, he's into that, too.

Your dignity honors the bravery of the Ukrainian people.

Be strong, be brave, be fearless.
You are never alone, dear President Zelenskyy.

We will continue working with you for a just and lasting peace.

Worth noting that when the war started Zelensky’s English was very shaky and he’s clearly spent a ton of time improving it for exactly this purpose.

I cannot comprehend breathing techniques for anxiety that involve longer exhales than inhales. Like, cool, depriving myself of oxygen and feeling like I'm going to suffocate seems like a great idea, definitely not going to exacerbate my feelings of doom.

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office.
2) Elected officials rewrite the rules in the donors' favor.
3) Donors make a huge profit.
4) Repeat.

For the sake of democracy, we must get Big Money out of politics.

Firing the Joint Chief Chair and replacing him with an under-qualified white man is the definition of unfair preferential hiring practices. It’s why they hate DEI so much, they see it as their invention being used against them
Just look at these paragraphs from the AP story.

Hegseth called Brown unqualified solely because he's Black. Then they fired him... and replaced him with a white guy so indisputably unqualified that he requires a Presidential waiver.

This is what "merit" means to them.

Caturday.

I hardly ever get *fun* pictures of Flapjack because I think he knows something is up and immediately stops doing anything interesting and walks away. So, instead, I have an abundance of pictures of him tired or sleeping.

But he's still my perfect little berrrrbyyyyy.

I occasionally find myself around Californians or Floridians who talk how they feel the bone-deep need to be near the ocean and the beach. I, mountain people, find beaches very lovely to look at but often quite overrated to be on. When I explain this, though, I just end up looking like this twat:

In these stupid-ass times, I have taken to playing Disney's Dreamlight Valley, because I wanted a cozy game that is not difficult (with the added bonus of warm, fuzzy Disney characters).

I related deeply to this line. I am the bitter lion.

10,000 King Soopers workers are currently on strike for better pay and working conditions.

Instead of negotiating in good faith, parent company Kroger has been using scabs and prioritized $7.5B in stock buybacks.

Don't tell me they can't afford to pay a living wage.

President Zelenskyy has been one of the greatest leaders of our time, guiding Ukraine through the darkest period of its recent history, rising up to Russia’s unwarranted aggression, being an inspiration to the Ukrainian people and ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is heard on the world stage.
