I'm gonna make this clear as an "Intro post": Trans rights are human rights. Full stop. I don't tolerate racists, anti-vaxxers, MAGAs, or most right wingers in general.
Ken Burns' The American Revolution is streaming FOR FREE on PBS's website. I am genuinely begging everyone who follows me to watch it

"The American Revolution is made possible by the corporation for public broadcasting" is a line that that goes so hard in this timeline

The funniest, if least likely scenario would be: Trump becomes first person to be impeached twice, Trump becomes second person elected twice non consecutivley, Trump becomes second person to announce resignation, Trump becomes first person to die in office before resignation becomes official.

I will not support anyone whos policies would erode the human rights of any person but if theyre a moderate on like economic policy? Ill VBNMW in that case. Just dont fucking throw vulnerable people under the bus. Its like my only litmus test.
pretty much

I have some non-negotiables (such as trans rights) but my number one issue in the next D primary is “will you actually fight back”

if any moderates are on the fight side of the fight/don’t fight axis now would be a good time to demonstrate it
I would vote for a moderate if I thought they would end the filibuster, pack the court, and use every lever available to them to keep the GOP out of power. if the leftists are the ones promising that, I'll vote for them instead.

Keep being petty. Its the GOPs (like all bullies) biggest weakness.

A female wolf has been doing something unusual on the Central Coast of British Columbia. She's learned to pull crab traps up from the water, yanking on a rope to bring it to the surface. But is it tool use? Very fun story from @phiejacobs.bsky.social for @science.org
Have wild wolves learned to use tools?
Video captures a lone female pulling crab traps out of the water, but does it count as tool use?

I understand why some white liberals from the Deep South want to insist that there isn't something distinct (and bad) about Southern political culture but the problem with this is that we wouldn't even have this idea of "The South" as distinct from the rest of the US if there wasn't a there there

BASH: We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It's not new. And I haven't heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you.

MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE: I think that's fair criticism. And I would like to say, humbly, I'm sorry for taking part in the toxic politics.
