Tell us Max, what antisemitism should we NOT be concerned about?
It should go without saying, but this is the antisemitism we should actually be concerned about.
This video shows the fire damage inside the Pennsylvania Governor’s mansion.

Governor Shapiro’s reaction to the arson attack is on my timeline.

Trump's antisemitism agenda isn't about the Jews. I wrote about how the president and his allies are using the pretext of protecting Jews to protect their policies from criticism, while advancing an agenda that most American Jews oppose. Gift link:

We're working hard to re-launch K'lal as a technology and cybersecurity hub for the Jewish community.

Tech thought leadership, cybersecurity strategies, knowledgebase of best practices — all tailored to Jewish communal needs.

I couldn’t be more excited.

Those who know me know I was highly critical of what I saw as some of the rhetorical excesses of the campus protests. Khalil and I wld probably get into a spat immediately. It's all the more important for people who believe as I do to say clearly, the protections of the law are for everyone.
A federal judge in NY has blocked any effort by the Trump administration to deport Mahmoud Khalil – whose arrest and imminent deportation Trump celebrated on Turth Social today — until further proceedings play out. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

I don't take a back seat to anyone on the subject of anti-semitism. Jews are being used here as a fig leaf to advance a broader attack on universities and higher learning. Trump wants to bring Universities to heel and obedience. Jews are just a convenient cudgel here and just as disposable.
The Ed. Department's Office for Civil Rights sent letters to 60 additional institutions "warning them of potential enforcement actions" for "violations relating to antisemitic harassment and discrimination" including Harvard, Brown, Stanford, Princeton, UNC, and several UC's

I pair what Vance is doing with the timidity of modern Dem coms. Politico's Elena Schneider did an interview w Walz and a Harris source demanded anonymity for a totally bland quote on it. They are just terrified of stepping out of the box. Vance doesn't even know where the box is.
Faced in 2016 with a shambolic Trump administration that didn't expect to win and wasn't prepared to govern or message, "Democratic-aligned politicians and pundits have been playing on easy mode." I wrote about how that has changed today, and what it means. Gift link:

Patricia Bauman died a year ago.

ActBlue is a payment processor. Almost anyone who’s given to a D candidate in the last 20 years could be mischaracterized as a “ActBlue funder.”

Listing five Jews, two of whom are long dead, as “ActBlue funders” secretly behind the Tesla protests is antisemitism.
Musk is blaming "Herbert Sandler," among others, for secretly financing the protests and Tesla dealerships over the last few weeks.

Sandler died in 2019.

congratulations to No Other Land, which may be the first film to win a major Oscar but not theatrical distribution.
The Most Relevant Movie in Theaters Is Poised to Make Oscar History. It Would Be a Shameful First.
It swept the critics’ awards and seems like an Oscars lock, yet it still doesn’t have a distributor.

The thing that everyone thinks is nuts, but I absolutely think would work: a presentation that looked like an Apple keynote product launch, but for all the cool shit that the government makes for people. Cancer treatments, national parks, space discoveries, free tax filing, cool new airports.

Actual question, after watching Oval Office spectacle w one president standing up for his country, and a prez and VP pandering for Putin:

I don't recall ever being more ashamed, as an American, of a president's public behavior. (Many have erred in private)

What has been more shameful than this?

Zelensky is a wartime leader watching his people suffer and die under Russian attacks every day. To be lectured and lied to by Trump and Vance, as they defend the war criminal dictator committing these atrocities, is unimaginable agony. An everlasting shame for America.
Trump has not uttered a critical word about Putin but he and his VP publicly belittled the leader of the nation Putin invaded.
