i think it sucks that online spaces really dont have safe spaces for kids. BUT we need more public spaces for children, especially ones that dont cost money

Had a real "i cant work in these conditions" moment at my parents when they asked me to setup a pi and I didn't have a second monitor or keyboard to be able to work on a desktop and the pi at the same time.
My home lab and workplace have made me weak, I used to do this shit in a cave with scraps.

also hi everyone, I'm back and have been busy with finishing my degree and adjusting to the full time employment lifestyle lol.

been playing around with linux a lot and I absolutely adore how customizable everything is but will not be joining the age of the linux desktop because tinkering around on a side device is fun, having to tinker on your main device because something is broken is far less so

Overheard a rich guy at the gym say he relies on chat gpt to think. Not a joke, he went on to say he relies on it to tell him what to take when he leaves the house.

Obergefell v. Hodges made me believe in the whole "arc of history bends towards justice." In the 90s, I didn't think gay marriage would be legalized in my lifetime because homophobia was so deeply ingrained. We would have never gotten here without the decision and now it may be overturned.
