I love winter, cold weather & gloomy skies... but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to Spring & Summer this year. Being able to walk my dog without having to wash his legs because he's been doing zoomies in waterlogged fields is going to be beautiful!

Ever since my Aunt passed in October, there has been nothing but drama from people trying to get their hands on anything & everything they can. I've walked away from people in my own family because I think that's the most disgusting behaviour. Vultures.

It's perfectly normal & absolutely okay to outgrow situations & people. Normalise walking away from things that no longer bring you joy, without there being the need for drama or nonsense.

At the end of 2025 I knew I had to make changes. I started putting myself first, silently removed myself from a lot of people, distanced myself from drama & people that thrive in chaos — It’s not a coincidence that I feel more peaceful & happier than I have been in a long time 🙏

Had an appt with my adhd doctor today. We discussed my insomnia & it appears after some bloods in the next few months that we're moving from max dose Zopiclone to a medium dose of Seroquel. Pretty scary, but hopefully in the long run it helps because I am beyond tired.

A friend of mine had a pretty big surgery on his leg today & afterwards they gave him a bunch of major pain meds. For the last 3 hours he’s convinced my name is Doug & I don’t have the heart to tell him it isn’t 😂

I’ve only had it less than a month, but the Steam Deck might be one of my favourite things I own. I’ve spent the last few hours under a blanket playing Monster Hunter Stories. I can see myself spending so much time using it this year 🤩
