Made salsa verde that's got a consistency not unlike apple sauce, and made a huge mess doing it, but now i at least don't have to shell out nine bucks for a decently cheesy bean burrito at the place that makes the good salsa verde for a couple weeks, and that's a win in my book. (Also made burritos)

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

I know a lot of you are too young to have experienced it, but this was basically where we hung out as kids in the Clinton years. It was a "pre-ESRB, smoking sections in restaurants" kind of society and it's a wonder more kids weren't indoctrinated by ninja gang culture.
