Like don't get me wrong I think singleplayer content helps but I think what fighting games have to tackle is more that this shit is beginning to sound like "How do we make vertical shmups mainstream in 2026??"

Interesting how fighting games are the one genre where this is something that is demanded, but not of other genres that are basically just multiplayer only endeavors. Also how fighting games are uniquely super difficult unlike other genres where they are all super easy to get into for some reason.
The 2XKO situation just reaffirms to me that Fighting Games need to have single player content.
