In spite of everything our 2025 was great, we saw NIN, went to Snoqualmie for Twin Peaks stuff (and shook hands with @roccobotte.bsky.social !!), and did a bar crawl in a kitschy Bavarian themed tourist town. The world is very kind to me, I hope the trend holds for 2026

It's crazy that Konami hasn't made a metroidvania CV in like 18 years
Like, it's not even the typical story where a sequel gets critically panned or sells poorly and the series goes into cryostasis, they just released seven good games in a row, consecutively, then decided never again

Still thinking about Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence. I've never seen someone aura farm as hard as David Bowie does in that movie. Any time he's onscreen, Ryuichi Sakamoto's score kicks in, giving the impression that he's going to evolve into his final form right in the middle of the POW camp
