Two cooked guys in their own ISIS bubble cannot fit inside a “rising tide of antisemitism” narrative. These deluded and hateful individuals in no way represent what’s happening in the broader Australian community where tolerance and restraint remain strong. Segal and MSM need to sit the fuck down.

I was just in Australia giving the Boyer Lecture. It's an economist's love letter to his home country. It's also relevant to the current American moment, as the main point is to link institutions with prosperity.

And from image events, we get POLYSEMIC images that carry multiple forms of ideology into the present. Here, we have the convergence of Shepard Fairey's iconic HOPE poster for the Obama campaign with the frog icon from #NoKings. The is how you visually dismantle fascist iconography.

🚨Unearthed footage shows Trump bragging about hiring a teenage girl because she was “so pretty.” When a woman asks to be a flight attendant on his jet, he says, “You can work on my plane anytime,” then calls it a “death wish”—comparing himself to an alcoholic around Scotch.

Two things can be true:

1) anti-semitism is foul bigotry in any context and we must fight it on every front.

2) Bibi Netanyahu is a piece of shit, irredeemable before both god and all humanity, and he should shut up, fuck off, and face justice for his crimes.

Genuinely can’t think of anything in my lifetime that has more corroded my faith in humanity than witnessing the eradication of the Palestinian people - and the West meeting it with silence, complicity, or cold indifference. Where are our souls.

🤓 in just 6 years, australia's two main grids added 51 TWh/yr of wind+solar generation.

…taking us from 19.9% → 38.8% renewables.

…this is equivalent to 6.6 large #nuclear reactors, but at much lower cost & much faster.

…even more impressive given there's no chance of nuclear here for 20+ years.
