The mistake here is the word “surrender.” That presumes X itself is like land, or a real-world resource. But its only actual resource is its userbase. i.e. us.
Basically, if we leave it, we’re not ceding territory to the Nazis, we’re taking the territory with us. And telling them to fuck off.
