When the government arrests media for "obstructing justice" for merely reporting...we've turned a serious corner. @wgntv.com -- are you going to cover this story?

Dream PR Response: "It was a Sky Full of Stars on the kiss cam at the recent Coldplay concert, including our very own CEO and head of HR. While a couple of people may have Clocked that they were in Trouble, we want to assure our stakeholders that she only wanted Hymn for the Weekend.”

Went thrifting the other day with my daughter and found this. Did people really buy the Deliverance Dueling Banjos album? "Honey, let me put on a little mood music..."

The muscle memory is STRONG. I took five years of piano lessons as a child, and just heard one of the Mozart concertos I used to play on the radio. I sat down at my hugely neglected Baldwin upright (way out of tune) and I played it! Badly, but my hands knew where to go. Surprised myself.

Oh. My. Word.

This split-second gaffe will HAUNT this man.
I need all of #lawsky to see this video from a Colorado appeals court livestream yesterday. I am in actual tears. Sound *incredibly* on, the subtitles will not help.

It's nice to be able to share a piece of my childhood with my adult children. (The existential threat of nuclear war). The Day After scarred me for life...

InstantPot is coming out with a line of pots to support Trump? Unbelievable. I was a huge advocate for them, and that's done. Not another dime, not another recommendation. gizmodo.com/your-next-in...

I am unapologetically telling you right now that Chicago is going to be insufferable about this, there is still a fading cardboard John Paul II in a Michigan Ave storefront looking out at Grant Park because he spoke there *once.*

So, the first American pope lived about 10 minutes from where I was born and worked as a kid at my dad's high school. Never thought I'd see the day when a southsider would be elected as pontiff.

I was obsessed with Bubonic Plague/the Black Death in like, third grade. I read in the World Book Encyclopedia that one in three people in Europe died in the 1300s plague outbreak, so I counted off the houses on our street 1-2-3, 1-2-3 to see if we'd be the unlucky house that would die.
Tell me an 'on brand' memory of your childhood.

Went to @repbillfoster.bsky.social 's town hall last night in DuPage County. BIG crowd -- 600+ people. What I found inspiring is how well-informed everyone around me was. Everyone could cite chapter and verse the departments cut, the court rulings, the executive orders. And EVERYONE was mad.

Guilty.
Please never argue with a Chicagoan about Chicago. They ALL believe Chicago is the greatest city to ever exist, and they are unwavering in this sentiment. You can’t win.

If you're 60, 69.1% of all job growth since your birth occurred under Democratic administrations.

If you're 45, that number is 74.7%.

If you're under 30, the number is 100%.

Got a call from Richard Irvin's campaign today, asking if they could count on my vote for mayor of Aurora.

I said, "I might've voted for him, until he sat side by side campaigning for Donald Trump at the RNC. Now there's not a chance in hell I'll support anyone who endorses that menace."

In 2021, Musk pledged to donate $6 Billion to end world hunger if the UN World Food Program could show how it could be ended. They created the plan. What did Musk do? He sold some Tesla stock and donated $5.7 billion. Not to the WFP, but to the Musk Foundation.

I found an old iPad, last used in 2016. Didn't log in with my new Apple ID, so all of my apps were frozen in time. The GAMES, tho. Flappy Bird, Temple Run, Ticket to Ride, Scrabble. I have some on my phone, but they're now infested with ads and hyper movements. TTR and Scrabble aren't even playable.
