I wouldn’t want to be a university president in today’s climate, especially in a red state. Hate to see a good man step down.
A year is optimistic. It takes a while to build a new manufacturing plant. And even longer if ICE arrests 475 of your construction people. I don't think Trump will live long enough to see a manufacturing renaissance, based on his health. We transitioned to a services economy long ago.
So, he’s saying that the numbers that show up now are fake, but the numbers in a year are real. That’s how a five-year-old believes things.

And then ICE went and arrested 475 people who work working on building a new plant for Hyundai. Most were South Koreans. Hyundai committed to spend $28 billion on manufacturing in the US. How do you think they feel today?

ICE, DC Police, Park Police, DHS, and HSI brutally arrested a man who refused to provide identification after being stopped for eating in public. Goons attempted to stop community members from recording his injuries during the incident.
