I'm playing at this new place in St. Johns (Portland, OR) on Nov. 21st called Villain Crepes & Coffee. It's small, but they're crepes are really good - all named after villains from movies & stories. The owner/chef made these cool fliers for it! Open mic after. #livemusic #folkmusic #smallbusiness

St. Johns Bridge is a steel suspension bridge that spans the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon, United States, between the Cathedral Park neighborhood in North Portland and the Linnton and Northwest Industrial neighborhoods in Northwest Portland. It carries the U.S. Route 30 Bypass. It is the only suspension bridge in the Willamette Valley and one of three public highway suspension bridges in Oregon. Pictured here after sunrise, the enormity of the bridge is observed by the small figure of a runner on the sidewalk and a small van on the road.

Remembering Mary Travers
(November 9, 1936 – September 16, 2009)
Mary Allin Travers was an American singer-songwriter and member of the folk music group Peter, Paul and Mary, along with Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey. Peter, Paul and Mary was one of the most successful folk music groups of the 1960s. Unlike most folk musicians of the early 1960s who were a part of the burgeoning music scene in New York City's Greenwich Village, Travers grew up there. A contralto, Travers released five solo albums in addition to her work with Peter, Paul and Mary.
