On the ballot, a measure to pay for park maintenance by increasing property taxes less than a year after the city announced a $100 million budget shortfall for the current year budget. The state of Oregon only votes by mail.

Cyclist rides toward the end of the Eastbank Esplanade by OMSI as another cyclist gets on their bicycle to go the opposite direction. The bike path littered with fallen leaves from the tree canopy overhead. Timbers fans line up outside Providence Park for a MLS playoff game against San Diego. The Timbers went on to win the game in penalty kicks and stave off elimination, at least for one more game. Homeless person sleeps in a dirty blanket inside of a trash can that is turned over on it's side on W Burnside St. The person's toes are exposed, protruding outside the blanket.
