The old man who is a holocaust survivor who was picked up by ICE? A rapist, it seems. Please note that I still think his deportation is bullshit, but I don't want to see people all up in arms while there are oodles of brown people with way less shit on their records getting picked up every day.

Listen up, co-hort of old white dudes. NK Jemisin is not to my tastes. I've tried, and I kind of bounce off her work. This is true for me of a lot of great writers in Science Fiction and Fantasy. Herbert, and Silverberg, and Heinlein. Stop whining. She's earned every bit of her accolades. Grow UP.

I feel like somebody hit me with their car today. It's ridiculous what tiny amounts of stress will do. I felt pretty okay yesterday. aside from occasional periods of aching and low energy.
