My daughter installed Mario Party onto the Switch 2 and now she's just sitting in a corner saying "I'm bad at this game" every few minutes. Not sure when to let her off the hook and say "no, you're not the problem here, it's this garbage-ass video game's fault."

A lot of unwanted changes coming from above, a steep dip in traffic, and deeper issues within the leadership structure, all this unfairly ends with me and most of my coworkers fired. I can only solidarize with everyone fired today, they're the most talented people I've come across in this industry.

I gave my notice to TheGamer back in August, devastated to find out that the website has laid off most of the amazing people that made the site such a unique and special place.

Playing Earthbound for the first time ever in 2025 is fascinating, actually. You're just a kid and the world's gone mad. All the adults are useless at best or trying to kill you at worst. Everyone talks like a crazy person. Everything's too expensive. Your next door neighbor wants to be a dictator.

It's been over a decade since I've seen Broken Social Scene live, but my favorite band ever put on a great show last night.

Ran into Kevin Drew before the show and was able to talk with him for a bit too, couldn't have asked for a better night.

I just wanted to thank anyone who has ever taken a moment to read my stuff, your kindness helped make my dream a reality

Alien: Earth is way better than I expected it to be. Turns out that taking an intergalatic slasher and giving characters and themes room to breathe can result in some pretty excellent television.
