Got some writing done today. Trying to ease back into it despite my elbow pain because, well, the pain is not going to go away. I may as well just power through it.
I have looked into dictation to make it a little easier but I don't think that's gonna suit my writing style very well.

Finally saw K-Pop Demon Hunters last night after trying to hipster my way out of it for months. "Eww, hyping up manufactured pop music from an abusive system" yes but the story is solid and it leaves room for more down the line without feeling redundant. And the climax did have me feel Things.

Found out today Arcade 1up's going outta business. Not surprising; all they've done the last few years is re-release Pac-Man over and over.
I have a TON of these cabs, good unique ones with arcade accurate controls, but they started getting too expensive and honestly too tall for me. It's a pity.

Finished my last Lego set for now, the retro radio. This thing was eight bags of incredibly intricate complicated interlocking mechanical parts. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it was a really difficult build. I think I need to aim a little lower next time.

Basically a whirlwind of doing budget and tax stuff this morning, followed by meds and hygiene (which takes longer than you'd think). I've been so lethargic in the evenings lately that I don't wanna put any of this off. Just pedal down and get it done while I have the energy to do anything.

It's weird, but since my elbow pain was diagnosed as arthritis, I feel oddly liberated. Like... okay. It's yet another layer of pain to deal with. Hate that. Not a fan. But I don't have to wait around for it to get better because it's not going to. I may as well adjust and get back to business.

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.
The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.

In the 1990s, I had to spend a full month in a Minneapolis hospital for spinal surgery. I already had plenty of hospital trauma under my belt, and this would be more on the pile. But the nurses and hospital staff from this city helped me feel safe; they were friendly, patient, and kind. Fuck ICE.
