It also fucking sucks that so many people on the Left(s) refuse to understand anti-fatness as a system of oppression, and fat liberation as a legitimate anti-oppression movement.

The thing about Melee that other Smashes never really captured is that this came out right in the GameCube launch window, so this was the first time we saw these characters like *this*.
And it just makes you imagine what a GameCube Zelda, a GameCube Star Fox, etc would look like.
