Yeah the people arguing in the Pic are wrong but fuck if groceries don't feel absurdly expensive rn. I shop exclusively at Walmart and Costco and it's rough. Major cost of living crisis in American right now for sure.
as someone on the zoomer/millennial boundary i feel there's a legit problem with people not knowing how to purchase groceries

The Biden administration is one of the worst, most useless fascist enabling administrations this country has ever seen. The only good thing he did was the Afghanistan withdrawal, something liberals bashed him endlessly. A complete and utter loser
yeah, that's entirely fair

I'm not gonna pretend like I have as much skin in the game as some ppl, but also I see tons of ppl pop off who literally don't know or gaf about the details of anything
the biden admin has been objectively and historically good
enjoy your oligarchy, I guess

Something about this has really got to me. It is just such a slap in the face - this is what we're worth, is it? Arguably the largest connector of human beings in the world, flooded with literal friction between each and every one by a billionaire addicted to growth. Death cult shit. Disgraceful.
Meta confirms they plan to add tons of AI-generated users to Facebook and Instagram

They will have bios, profile pics and can share content

I understand why this Jesse guy is disliked but unfortunately I don't think it's a good hill to die on. He never expresses overtly bigoted opinions. And you can't be held accountable for what a follower does. And the only actionable thing he did was basically say "I want people to come to bluesky"
We do not currently take action on accounts that share Bluesky screenshots with commentary, unless that commentary violates our Guidelines. We will take action when someone's private information is shared without their consent, but only when it is personally identifiable and verifiable in-app.

It's so funny when political commentators try to say "there is a legal avenue to address your concerns" in regards to Luigi. No there absolutely isn't! The justice system is a complete farce and these companies lobby politicians to keep their parasitic industry around
December 12, 2024 at 7:08 PM
My favourite part of these responses is when they say "there's legitimate legal channels to address these concerns" really? Is there? Not without a massive amount of work and trouble and stress and headache.
The warning about "decivilization" didn't come after any one of a number of school shootings. It didn't come after January 6. It was after a health insurance company CEO's shooting wasn't received with national mourning:

Decivilization May Already Be Under Way
The brazen murder of a CEO in Midtown Manhattan—and the cheering reaction to his execution—amounts to a blinking-and-blaring warning signal for a society that has become already too inured to bloodshe...

Riley Walz (@riley.bsky.social), engineer who tweeted public Citi Bike data he thought could help catch the UHC CEO's killer, told me he's received hundreds of threats and that his home address has been widely posted. One tweet with a photo of his house got 5,000 likes. "It's absolutely terrifying"
Online sleuths are racing to catch the UnitedHealthcare CEO’s killer
The shooting of the UnitedHealthcare CEO in New York City, home to a vast network of surveillance cameras, has fueled a crowdsourced manhunt — even as some seek to lionize the killer.

It's kinda shocking to go back to Twitter and see how bad it is now. I got sent 10 ads in a row with one post from a right winger I didn't follow, then a post from Elon himself. It's awful!! It used to be so fun.

I love item variety in supervive. They aren't afraid to get real wacky with it and still keep a ranked mode. Also ranked points feel really fair, placement matters but you need kills.

I pre-ordered the next storm light book in March and it's coming sooo soon. I am going to re read them all again. The series really does evolve over time I love how planned it is

Supervive is ludicrously fun. Zeph must be the best healer / support in any moba ive played. Team wide cc and healing with weapon that can solo anyone is nuts. Wind dashing your team into an engage that you win is amazing

Centrist liberals weird idea that trans issues lost the election makes no sense. The democrats went right on every single issue and they still lost. Kamala ran the perfect centrist campaign and ate shit

Trump didn't win because of lazy voters. He won because democrats failed to articulate a change platform. Most Americans have completely batshit politics. They don't make sense at all. These voters can absolutely be reached with the right messaging

Had a preschool class today with a brand new classroom funded by a federal prek program
New tables, new games, new curriculum, new everything.
Conservatives see programs like this and go "cut it! Get rid of the DOE! Screw sped! Screw preschool!" It's so fucking disgusting.
