My video about how LLMs are not search engines has led to many, MANY comments telling me that I should be using Perplexity. Some insisting that Perplexity does not hallucinate.
Out of a list of 26 papers it just provided me (in "Research" mode) 4 were real. FOUR. 85% hallucination rate.

Why do you need a bracket...? Wouldn't ICBC or VPD or City of Vancouver have a bunch of stats for a variety of measures available to be able to definitely answer this question, depending on the rubric you are measuring by....

Every time the CBC does something stupid, you'll hear even progressives calling for it to be defunded.
But as someone who grew up in rurally, I can tell you that venture-capitalist-owned media is not going to small towns. They don't see money? They don't see value.
