I kept seeing weird posts on Facebook from this writer Chuck Tingle. If you haven't heard of him, just look at this picture, then do yourself a favour and read his Wikipedia page:

What we’re learning is that some people are so devoid of values that they’ll justify trafficking and raping children rather than seeing their preferred politician look bad.
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

There’s a lotta adults on here who seem extremely concerned about the continued viability of the Toy Story franchise.

Also, this guy is wrong and this album is nuts.

It’s like everything the No Wave movement was up to, but 5-10 years earlier and with incredibly talented jazz musicians.
Reading about the Miles Davis jazz fusion album On the Corner and I came across this absolutely bizarre sentence from a critic:

"I'd like to think that nobody could be so easily pleased as to dig this record to any extent."

Oh no! Old Hull is truly an underrated downtown. The right amount of old and gritty (and maybe a fire hazard), but also fun to hang out. I’m always cheering for Old Hull.

I find it annoying when people call Twitter “The Other Place.” What’s gonna happen if you name it? Elon Musk will materialize and steal your sandwich? A pussy in bio army will swarm your mentions and email your boss?

Grow a spine!

I don’t ask for harmony in this world. All I ask is for people to put more effort into their insults.

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

Cuts to public service:

“The reductions to the civil service include cutting the equivalent of 16,000 full-time positions — about 4.5 per cent of the workforce — with a goal of shrinking the public service by 40,000 jobs from its 2024 peak by 2028-29.”
