Not a huge Bernie fan, but he’s onto something here.

Democrats need to meet people where they are and genuinely engage on the topics that matter to the larger electorate.

Rs are refusing to do so; let’s step into the vacuum and be the thoughtful leaders our country desperately needs.

So I guess playing a juvenile game of chicken with our strongest trade partners and neighbors is a bad idea.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Is America great again yet?

Here’s a hot take:

Maybe the “dems are in disarray” because they don’t lie with every breath and indoctrinate their constituents in a stew of misinformation, hatred, and conspiracy theories.

Just spitballing here. 🥸
“Democrats talk easily about how the party has gotten 'out of touch,' but they don’t draw the obvious connection about what happens when you’re out of touch: You get things substantively wrong and alienate voters with your unpopular ideas,” Josh Barro writes:
Democrats Need to Clean House
The problem with the party goes way beyond the $10 words.

Remind me again why it’s unsafe for Palestinians in Gaza?!?

And “these Palestinians?” Fuck off to “those ignorant, tone deaf MAGA twats.”
Leavitt: "The president feels it would be much better and more majestic if these Palestinians could be moved to safer areas."

I hope the progressives and Muslims who voted for Trump or stayed home because they “didn’t like” how Biden/Harris dealt with Israel are happy.

This is what happens when you get your “news” and information from TikTok.

Huge fan of our Congresswoman. ❤️
There’s a lot to be scared and angry about. Part of my job is to cut through the noise and explain, in plain terms, what’s going on. One issue at a time.

I’ll be posting more updates like this in the weeks and months ahead. Hopefully they help you better understand the issues—and what’s at stake.

This Charlie Angus seems like a smart guy. 👍
Canadian MP Charlie Angus while vowing to call Trump's trade war bluff on CNN just now,

"This isn't gunboat diplomacy (laughs). I mean, this is like an Al Capone shakedown in his syphilis phase."

It’s what Mitch McConnell would do, and it’s about time we start using that playbook.
New York lawmakers are considering a change to the state's special elections law that would keep Rep. Elise Stefanik's House seat open for months, a move backed by Hakeem Jeffries as a way to deny Republicans’ already bare-bones House majority of a crucial vote.
Jeffries Works With N.Y. Democrats to Weaken G.O.P. Control of the House
New York lawmakers may give Gov. Kathy Hochul more time to schedule special elections, a move backed by the House Democratic leader that could keep a key seat vacant for months.

Canadian MP, Charlie Angus regarding Trump's tariffs:

"The threat comes, of course, from the president of the United States—a convicted felon and known predator."

Most federal employees I know are hardworking people who could make way more money in the private sector but work for the government out of a sense of duty and respect for their country (something MAGA knows nothing about).

They aren’t all so easily bought.

Eliminating FEMA would be disastrous to red states. Unfortunate pun intended.
Trump is so blinded by hatred for California that he’s considering eliminating an agency that overwhelmingly helps red states.
