Using @tailwindcss for the past week (been busy with backend work for a long time) and damn! This is the 1st time since tables-based layouts of the past that I feel confident in my ability to effectively execute on frontend tasks. It is like inline styles, but 100x better. Ugly, but effective! 👌

Have been learning Portuguese for the past 2 months (because why not, #ADHD) and to help me with reading comprehension while at the first stages of learning the language I needed content that would be accessible, but not a picture book for 2yo kids. 🧵

I've seen others share similar things in the past, but a little snippet like this is nice for knowing which breakpoint you're in while doing responsive work. We tuck our's into a staff bar but it could go anywhere and shown only in dev mode.

It’s honestly surprising how often when I get confused about some aspect of Portuguese grammar what makes me finally get it is trying to translate the sentence into Ukrainian. Often the order of words between those two is closer than to from either of them to English for some reason 🤔
