Theres a lot of terminally online left people who clearly had a strong "right wing" phase when they were younger and despite shifting ideologies still cringe at progressive things on an instinctual level because they never reprogrammed themselves, just redirected their bad habits elsewhere.

The liberation of the concentration camps did not grant liberty to these men, many of them were reimprisoned under buggery laws.
