This is a completely unrelenting fever dream. I felt my lips drying up and cracking as I watched Nic Cages' face being seared in the suns rays. A little bit herzog and lynch at times, happy to see Cage doing more weird shit.

Underwhelming execution overall but still worth a watch, plenty of twists and turns, acting was better than expected for the most part.

Really love the #Invincible show but there's a few pieces of dialogue they removed/re-phrased which I think changes the way people will view characters.
Particularly taking out Cecil threatening to kill Mark, and the reveal that Cecil/GDA covered up Darkwings crimes...

It's stupid that special effects and sound effects have the same abbreviation (sfx).

A lot of chatter on that other app about "bed rot". That's for scrubs. Real pros like me don't need to be horizontal, we are rotting perpetually.

Just watched this, had very low expectations due to the reviews on aggregate sites. But I was pleasantly surprised.
Acting is kinda ropey at parts but thats to be expected from lower budget movies. The story had some holes too but the concept was really fun and the pacing was superb.

Not at all what I was expecting from a Shudder Original. Not so much a horror movie, more a dark coming-of-age dramedy.
Worth checking out though. It's an oddly wholesome movie.

Tried watching this but its really bad. The story is fine but the lighting and audio mixing is some of the worst I've ever come across. The murdering couple were pretty good actors but everyone else were varying degrees of mediocre.
Do not recommend.

I keep a list of movies I want to watch and often feel paralysed by indecision.
Sometimes I think I'm not in the mood to watch a movie of a particular genre/setting but then when I start watching it I get sucked in.
I need to spend less time deciding what to watch and more time just watching.
