All the firings, cancelling of grants and contracts with companies , the closing of offices, disproportionately impact small towns, cities and states.

OMG - the National Anthem before the Eagles-Packers game was so beautiful and emotional. A single saxophone. A single trained bald eagle flying across the stadium. The sax player holding the note accompanying The Land of the Free for as long as he could ... truly a National Anthem to remember.

RIP. What an amazing post-presidency.
One of Jimmy Carter's biggest, but probably least known accomplishments is getting us very close to eradicating Guinea worm, a horrible disease that almost no one else cared about.
Jimmy Carter took on the awful Guinea worm when no one else would — and he triumphed
Carter targeted diseases primarily affecting the poor in remote areas — notably "Guinea worm disease." Because of his commitment, case numbers plummeted from 3.6 million a year to just 13 in 2022.
