We're gonna need a truth and reconciliation commission and Nuremberg style trials to reckon with all of this evil, and any Dem candidate for office who shies away from a full reckoning in the name of "moving forward as a nation" can get well and truly fucked

This is so sad, we have elementary and middle school kids and they have 100% been taught this, never knew the name but whats described here is exactly how the district teaches. We have always read to them and with them a lot at home but so much of this makes sense why they are not strong readers 1/2

Hi @congressmanraja.bsky.social I know you are running for the seat being vacated by @durbin.senate.gov, I would like to know your thoughts on the current senators vote to reopen the govt and if you would publicly call for the removal of @schumer.senate.gov from Senate leadership.
November 11, 2025 at 2:41 PM
Thanks for selling out the republic @durbin.senate.gov, this is your legacy. You will be remembered as one who gave in, a stain on your name
Under Schumer's leadership, eight Democrats (Cortez Masto, Durbin, Fetterman, Hassan, Kaine, King, Rosen, & Shaheen) joined the Republicans in moving forward a bill to reopen the government without ACA subsidies—Dems' stated key aim—or any other real concessions from the status before the shutdown.

Absolutely terrifying to have teens and tweens right now. These AI chat bots are so pervasive, we have to be constantly vigilant on what our kids are interacting with. These companies need to be dissolved @quigley.house.gov @durbin.senate.gov @duckworth.senate.gov

This is horrifying. I'll say it again, abolish ICE is the moderate position. Dem leaders and representatives like my own @quigley.house.gov whos district this happened in, need to start making this priority clear now.
Getting new details on this now:

As the arrest unfolded, teachers pleaded with the agents telling them the teacher had a work permit. The agents went into multiple rooms looking for teachers while children were present. One teacher hid with a child in her care while the agents stormed the facility.
Raids inside day cares had been off limits until this year, when, on his first day in office, President Donald Trump removed that protection.

The arrest reportedly took place in front of children.

Getting dunked on pretty hard in the comments. It's because people understand the tax tricks people like Mark use to make sure they will NEVER pay their fair share. I don't care if it's assets/stock/whatever, a "billionaire" should never exist..on paper, in the bank, doesn't matter
I’m not opposed to a windfall tax when someone makes 1 billion dollars in taxable income in a year.
I believe Billionaires should pay a higher tax. If you make over a billion dollars, then would need to pay 50% tax, if you make 2 billion dollars, tax should be 60%. And companies shouldn't be able to buy back stocks or at least limit it.

We need more tech people like this! Imagine if all our current broligarchs like cared, even a little bit, about sharing and making the world a better place and not just profiting
I wrote a little comic about #opensource hardware and serviceberry foraging!

I'll post all the panels here, but you can also read the whole thing on @archive.org :

It's a good start. From my experience Saturday. This is the moderate stance for a lot of older ladies, Peloton moms, people who enjoy wine and cheese boards, and vuori shorts wearing dads....the Dem electeds need to take note, paging @quigley.house.gov @durbin.senate.gov @duckworth.senate.gov

The vaccine is twice the size of the jar?? 🤣💀
Trump on autism: "Obviously there is something that is artificially I think induced, whether it's vaccines in terms of these massive vaccines that are twice the size of a jar like that ... I would say don't take Tylenol if you're pregnant. What do you have to lose?"

This is like me telling my kids we can definitely, 100%, discuss getting the new switch two, they just have to do all the stuff I need them to do and follow directions and then we will for sure talk about getting one 😉
Mike Johnson: "It's about keeping Congress operating so we can get to healthcare. We always were going to. They're lying to you. Okay? The healthcare issues were always gonna be something discussed, deliberated, contemplated, and debated in October and November."

Not that I think the "Antifa" boogeyman is a legitimate concern (because this is all just being used by them to justify their actions) but a good ? to ask would be if your "enemy" is Antifa, what does that make you guys??
Patel: "I would like to remind the American public: they built this DC temple of corruption over decades, and in 8 short months, Mr President, you have crippled their foundation."

This is her stupid canned response to anything she doesn't like. Exhausting.
PADILLA: Do you believe govt officials are obligated to follow court orders whether they agree with them or not, yes or no?

BONDI: I wish you loved your state of California as much as you hate President Trump

PADILLA: I asked a simple yes or no question

PAY ATTENTION: ICE is filing fake 911 calls in Chicago, weaponizing emergency services to provoke local police.

Ordinary citizens would be charged with a felony. ICE calls it strategy.

Called one of the Chicago numbers, on hold for about 90 sec and spoke to a nice lady letting her know that I think the governor should remove the ISP from the Broadview facility and he needs to make a statement about not adding ICE operations. Seemed like she's been hearing this a lot. Make the call
If you’re in Illinois and you’re disturbed by the images that you’re seeing of the Illinois State Police in Broadview this morning, please call now. It will honestly take 30 seconds. I spoke to a real person.

And after 40 minutes of cringe-Thunderous applause from the generals!

Just kidding. Total silence. 👀 🦗 🦗

This guy out here still talking about healthcare?? My guy, they are unlawfully deploying troops to our cities, arresting protesters at ICE factories, and arresting the presidents "enemies", while I agree healthcare is important, some things right now are a bit more pressing
The Trump administration’s threat to deploy troops in Portland is unlawful.

Here’s a thought.

Focus on protecting the healthcare of the American people.

Thank you to my rep @quigley.house.gov for voicing your opposition with a clear "No" vote.
Everything wrong with the Democratic Party in a nutshell.

95 House Democrats (including Jeffries!) just voted to honor the life & legacy of Charlie Kirk.

Only 58 voted no.

38 voted present.
