A member of Congress just filled out a threat report with the Capitol Police naming the President of the United States as the person making the threat.

Think of where we were on January 7, 2021 when the country overwhelmingly repudiated what had happened.

And think of where we are now.

One sane leader in Congress
Rep Al Green from Texas is reintroducing articles of Impeachment against the criminal Donald Trump.

Green tried earlier this year but all other reps were too chickenshit to back him. Support him this time. Call your reps & tell them to join him. #3E #EndImpunity

New in PN: Lindsey Halligan's bad bad week

"It was already painfully obvious that Trump’s pet prosecutor is entirely out of her depth, with both of her big splashy political prosecutions spiraling out of control. This week, though, it became clear she'd be overmatched prosecuting a jaywalker."

Mike Johnson -- who is, yes, theoretically a lawyer -- has not had a chance to look at the American Constitution because he's been very busy lately, folks, he just can't see everything, gosh, how is he supposed to know if it's wrong that the president called for the execution of congress members?

It gets lost in the shuffle, but the Speaker of the House is someone who, by all rights, should’ve had his career ended a decade ago by a Shreveport TV news investigative team.
Fond memories of that time Mike Johnson was president of a local law school that never opened its doors, in part because it was attached to a Baptist college that was losing its accreditation, and in part because it was always a scam from the start

So, we’re just moving on from the sedition-execution thing?
It's quite tidy how the whole thing worked out, in a way. Democratic members of Congress, recognizing that President Trump would be more than happy to dispatch the military to aid his political object...

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!

Did you take an oath? Was it to follow the constitution? To not do anything illegal that would violate that constitution?

Did you learn nothing from history? War crimes are not excused by saying I was doing my job or my boss told me to.

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.....
Didn't you and your ilk take an oath to uphold the constitution??? Remember that pesky thing?
Isn't part of your job supposed to be representing and supporting the humans in your and the greater country good?
Is there a clause that says you will not do anything illegal?

Now they are deflecting that we should just "ignore" his personality? Just when I think their moral compass couldn't be any lower, they open their mouth... and whoops there is goes lower again. Who votes for this shit?
Trump called a female reporter Piggy and said Kashoggi got what he deserved. The only thing he hates more than the press is a woman in the press.

When we say we have no Congress, that's a literal interpretation. The duty of a "Representative" is to represent the people. Our Congress works for Trump
GOP Rep. Salazar won't criticize Trump calling a woman reporter "piggy" -- "President Trump is a very different type of politician. But I always say I look at his policies and not his personality. Nobody is perfect."
