Through comments, I learned about other big myths Americans believe about foreign aid:
1/ it's risen past 1% in recent years, esp. due to Ukraine - false, max is about 0.5% in 2022 $80B
2/ it's used mostly *not* for humanitarian aid - nope
3/ It's mainly about military objectives - nope

1. The ceasefire/hostage deal if it is indeed done, is fantastic news . After so much agony on all sides, let’s hope this results in the end of the war and the release of all the hostages. A few thoughts.

I’ll never forget the trauma & travesty of the Capitol attack on 1/6/21.

I felt it in my heart & guts.

It was an attack on us—on We the People—on the government & Constitution that define us as a nation.

Regardless of attempts to rewrite it, it’s the truth. We saw it happen.

And we won’t forget.

WHOA! THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FRAUD.

GOP Rep. Kay Granger (TX-12) has been missing for six months. She was just found by a reporter in a dementia care facility.

Her staff and others have been keeping this a secret from her constituents. So who’s been making these posts?
