In just a few generations, it's gone from "women need you & you'll get one as a mate/domestic servant regardless of how you act" to "women can survive on their own & will only mate with you if you bring something to the table" and WOW men are not adjusting well.
I'm starting to wonder how much "the male loneliness epidemic" is just straight and bisexual women identifying low-effort, mean, and incompetent men and choosing not to date, marry, and tolerate them anymore

'You shouldn't criticize Mark Carney because that's how you get Pierre Poilievre' is...exactly how you get Pierre Poilievre.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

"The Donald Trump administration has changed which holidays qualify for free entrance to national parks, removing two holidays celebrating Black people and adding the president’s birthday."
National parks change prioritizes Trump birthday over days honoring Black people
Free entrance days at national parks no longer include MLK Day and Juneteenth.

Lead Podcasting is joining The Walrus to expand The Walrus Podcasts and strengthen our audio storytelling.

Amanda Cupido will serve as our first Executive Podcast Advisor, and the full Lead team joins The Walrus Lab.

This man may be the most racist president this country has ever had, and twelve presidents owned slaves
Trump: "It’s a hellhole right now. And those Somalians should be out of here. They've destroyed our country. And all they do is complain, complain, complain. You have her. She’s always talking about the Constitution provides me with – go back to your own country and figure out your constitution."

As Chantal Hébert said, folks are missing the climate forest for the pipeline trees.

Carney rolled back major climate policies for Alberta, now! In exchange for a lil industrial carbon price increase and the BS that is carbon capture!

Forgetting the pipeline, this is BAD for the climate crisis!
I'm not convinced that wasn't Carney's plan all along. It isn't Ottawa that said no to Alberta. "Now you run along, Danielle, and make friends and get it done." Oh wait, you can't? Oh well then, at least you tried.

Good. Here’s hoping that sex pest gets run out of the league by the (checks notes)…Blackhawks? Wait, now this feels weird…
Carter Hart had an .839 save percentage in his three conditioning starts in the AHL, so it might be that kind of game.

Nayra Guzmán was 15 days post C-section — going to see her baby in the NICU — when she was taken to Broadview and held in custody for about 34 hours.

She slept on a bench and barely got food. She couldn't pump.

Her story is a rare window into the growing detention of pregnant & postpartum people.
Her baby was in the NICU. She was in ICE detention.
Before Trump took office, postpartum immigrants were rarely detained by ICE. Nayra Guzmán was detained while her 15-day-old baby was in the NICU.
