Your daily reminder that the fossil fuel industry is propped up by billions of dollars in U.S. government subsidies and a multimillion dollar campaign to spread climate disinformation. 💵

Warren Buffet says crypto is a scam. I believe him.
More good coverage on crypto fraud in the NYT this morning. Note the phrase "at least $28 billion". It is undoubtedly A LOT more than $28 billion because the technology is so perfectly designed to be untraceable AND this doesn't include all kinds of fraud. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/17/t...

The GOP has blamed immigrants for everything from crime to housing to healthcare to beef prices. It couldn’t be clearer that they are following the Nazi playbook, which also falsely accused Jews of the hardships Germany faced.

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

What an easy governing philosophy Republicans have. Just blame every problem on Biden, Democrats, and migrants. Then you never have to solve anything and can blame all your failures on other people. This is especially useful when you are grossly unqualified for your position.

Someone please explain how a voter approved redistricting violates the law in California but a Texas Legislature redistricting does not.

I’ll wait.

WATCH — @repstevenhorsford.bsky.social : “My amendment would redirect that $40 BILLION from Argentina to fund the ACA subsidies for two years… a far better use of taxpayer dollars.”

Why do we have money for Argentina while our own people lose their health care? How does this make us great?
