I was stuck in a freezing cell without explanation despite eventually having lawyers and media attention. Yet, compared with others, I was lucky

Clearly the economy folk need to be blunter. You can't restore the factory jobs of the 1950s because technology has changed, and manufacturing has changed. They weren't actually the golden era anyway. Least of all for consumers.

I know this is going to sound naive or earnest, but I genuinely find myself shocked by how little people seem to be upset by the levels of corruption we're seeing. Is that the median voter assumes everyone is corrupt already? Or isn't actually getting stories about the corruption?

Really difficult to square this with economic reality. Of course there were warts, but the latest issues over recession, stocks, trade barriers is all Trump (and the whipsaw over trust in longstanding allegiances, military and economic)
Leavitt: "We are in a period of economic transition. We are in a period of transition from the mess that was created by Joe Biden and the previous administration. Joe Biden left this country in an economic disaster."

Not lost on me how funny it is that Trump put a 10% tariff on Canadian electricity and it was good and based but when Doug Ford put a 25% export tax on electricity it was an evil attack on America’s basic security and freedom that needed to be retaliated against.
