I mean, I personally don't want those people at the table. They're wrong and bigots. Those are not people who are great at solutions or compromises, because all they want to do is deny people they don't like human rights. Which should be a hard line, frankly.
It kind of seems like Sen. Chris Murphy is saying that Dems need to moderate their stances on abortion, gay rights, guns and climate in order get more votes. I find this argument pretty unconvincing.
