If you make 130% of the federal poverty level, you qualify for SNAP.

A family of four, making $40,560, qualifies for SNAP benefits meaning thousands of Missouri teachers qualify.

I’m tired of the bullshit. Most of the people who receive snap benefits work.

When you move 8 US Navy warships into the Caribbean to distract from releasing the Epstein files and then have to move them again out of the path of a massive hurricane what’s the fuel cost to US taxpayers? Are Trump’s billionaire Pedo pals covering that too or is it on us?

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

How many lives did you destroy leaking children's medical records to anti trans activists? How many families had to uproot their lives and move out of state to get care you helped get banned?

Are we supposed to feel bad? It's called karma.

Trump wants to use the Navy to build $10B worth of migrant detention camps.

Let me get this straight: we "can't afford" to invest in public programs that make housing or healthcare more affordable — but we have endless funds to detain migrants and enrich defense contractors?

Starving can cause chronic illness and disabilities.

Malnutrition is not to be trifled with.

Cutting off SNAP funding will cause people to suffer. Some will get ill. Some may die.

There’s no excuse for this. 40 million people rely on that program.

It’s a cull.

“Let them go a month without meals. Maybe they will get a job”

First, many SNAP recipients have jobs. They’re just living below the poverty line because of tremendous wealth inequality.

Second, many are disabled and children and can’t work.

Third, no one should starve to death.

I am reminded of an academic who watched hours upon hours of Infowars as part of doing research into it. I can't remember what specific research they were doing. Anyway, they found themselves occasionally thinking what Infowars said might be true. They began to take frequent breaks because of this.
No one should EVER monitor Nazi space without a strong support network that can check them regularly and watch for signs that the propaganda is taking hold, and address that reality promptly.

Without a rock solid accountability network, it is playing with fire.
This is I think also one of the reasons you (you as in a regular person) shouldn't got into nazi places to try and 'debate' them (or worse, to hang out and check the vibe. I know somebody who radicalized a lot after doing that to neo-nazi metal concerts (not the only reason he radicalized)).

Those questions are also blatantly illegal.
I have a young relative who lost her job and is currently looking for another. She had a zoom interview for a position, and I overheard part of it. The employer asked her if she had kids, how old they are, and about their daycare.

Those questions lead to discrimination…obviously.

We're talking about Trump here though. He's infamously extremely stupid with money (and in general).
Absolutely no one spends $350 million on a remodel to a house they plan on leaving in three years. No one!!!

They really thought there was a mechanism to MAKE the cool kids like them, and. Nope
In the mind of the MAGA fascist, simply ruling the country with an iron fist isn't enough. They need the ruled to hate them for it and not be able to do anything about it. They need to be able to say "Yeah, I caused all of your suffering, and you're going to take it because you can't stop me."
