As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

A white journalist at a white BBC has made what looks like a hit piece about a white writer charged with racism by a number of writers of colour. The twist? The BBC attacks the writers of colour.

Solidarity with all Black and Brown people fighting to be treated with dignity. Screw the racist BBC.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social swampy did indeed succeed when it came to ending the road building program in the UK. he was less successful in the early days of protesting airport expansion. He was with people (that would become friends of mine) protesting the building of a runway @ Manchester Airport in 98

We’re turning the massive energy from the Hands Off! protests towards one of our biggest fights yet: Stopping the GOP reconciliation plan that guts Medicaid, crushes SNAP, and shovels trillions of dollars to billionaires. To win, we need to be louder and more organized than ever before.

In fact, mainstream parties adopting right wing economic policies, aka neoliberalism, served as handmaiden to the ascendancy of the radical right.

Not just in us, it’s available through freeview in the uk and on demand too iirc
If you’re in the US, you can watch PBS for free using the app. There’s a series of documentaries called American Experience that’s really good—each is about a different event in history.

Go watch The one about the Gilded Age in season 30.

It feels so familiar, it’s genuinely eerie.

This is an awesome episode and I appreciate getting a small hint of forthcoming episodes on the mountain justice campaigns. But I also deeply appreciated mention of horehound, i sadly never met her, but friends of mine were close with her. her death had a huge organisational impact though

Issue an EO requiring Medicare and Medicaid cover everyone. Throw the borders open. Abolish ICE. Force the right to argue in court that these things are illegal. Make them argue that the presidency is solely the power to destroy, not to build.

The use of power for good things is good.
