...especially the one that YOU like so much you decide to break your gacha game abstinence. Yes, I'm still annoyed over Valkyrie Anatomia, and that technically lasted five years.

It's honestly a miracle when a game even gets out of preproduction. When the creator of one of the last decade's biggest hits is having stuff get canned before announcement, just imagine what it's like for everyone else

I like a lot of things about Vice: Project Doom, including its laser whip! For a bonus, here's what might be the most unintentionally filthy line in an NES game.

Stuff like this is why PlayStation-era Squaresoft might be my favorite game company. That's one hell of a lineup, covering all sorts of genres. I think the only game there that didn't draw me in was SaGa Frontier, and even that was interesting enough for me to play through Emelia's arc.

I really like how the Galactic Warriors promotional art gives off the same vibe as a mid-1980s robot toy you got cheap at the drugstore and didn't recognize as an anime mecha until you found it mixed in with your old Transformers twenty years later.
This week's Arcade Archives release is Konami's 1985 robot fighting game Galactic Warriors🤖

worth noting disc 130 actually has MORE & much earlier concept art for Mega Man Legends, including multiple pieces with untranslated artist comments.

"Get OUTFOXIES or get OUT," I say to an arcade that's actually just a storage closet at a hotel which hasn't had a game room since 2006 and never updated their Yahoo entry's list of amenities.

Technically Nintendo has Tetris Attack's original version on their online service (as Panel de Pon) but it doesn’t have the various Yoshi's Island characters, and that means it doesn't have this adorably disinterested yellow Yoshi.

New blog post time!

This week's game is Strahl (aka Triad Stone), an interactive movie about a guy's journey to become king and change the world. This one's far more forgiving than other games like it and you get a lot of chances to change the story (48 endings!), so it's quite a pleasant ride:
Strahl
With the way it is now, Strahl is an incredibly chill time. It reminds me of the days where anime was a new novelty and my friends and I would scrounge up whatever VHSes and DVDs we could find of s…

Damn, these unreleased games just keep coming. Dark Empires looks pretty cool, too!

Maybe this is all some secret competition to share previously canceled games. Anyone have Mariner's Run/Sea Dog or Shogun Maeda/Kabuto?
